• Fitment - 21-27016-02 is designed to work with stock and aftermarket hoods compatible with 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma and lifts your hood 7" higher than 21-27015 system.
• Installation - The Hood Quicklift System includes all components needed for the installation. Some mounting hardware included in the system requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball stud brackets, drilling is required.
• Gas Springs (Black) - The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application.
• End-of-stroke-dampening - All gas springs utilize progressive-rate valving technology. Designed into each gas spring is an end-of-stroke dampening which slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel. This feature reduces stress on hood and mounting hardware.
